REFLEXION
The brain and body have an intimate connection via the central nervous system. In our office we assess this connection and the pathways between the two. Individuals that suffer from post-concussion syndrome benefit through different types of care including neuro training to improve multiple brain related reactions. These drills can also be used in healthy individuals to help fine tune and improve delays that may not be known without a proper physical and neural assessment.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Reflexion works by training and tracking specific visual and cognitive skills that play vital roles in sports performance and injury prevention alike. We call these skills cognitions and they are trained by completing drills.
IMPROVED PERFORMANCE
Each drill that is added to the Reflexion is designed to target specific cognitions that relate to your performance. These cognitions include some skills that you have probably heard of such as reaction time, eye-hand coordination, and peripheral vision, as well as some that you may not have - visual memory, field mapping, visual pursuit, and inhibitory control to name a few
WHAT REFLEXION IMPROVES

Reaction Time
Eye-Hand Coordination
Peripheral Vision
Reach
Recognition Memory
Focus
Visual Memory
Field Mapping
Prioritization
Peripheral Awareness
Memory Field Mapping
Hand-Speed Reaction
Visual Pursuit
Decision Making
Inhibitory Control
Multi-Object Tracking
Contrast Sensitivity
Each Individual Introduced to Reflexion goes through a standardized assessment to determine any deficits in the above areas. A customized regimen is designed for each individual based on their functional assessment.
