About Compass Chiropractic

True Health Starts From the Inside Out

Our Mission

We started Compass Chiropractic with a simple belief: your body was designed to heal itself — it just needs a clear path to do it.

Our mission is to help families throughout the Flathead Valley experience better health by removing the nervous system interference that keeps the body from functioning at its best. We don't chase symptoms. We find the root cause, correct it with gentle and specific adjustments, and give your body the opportunity to do what it was built to do

What Makes Compass Different

Not all chiropractic care is the same. At Compass, our approach is neurologically focused — meaning we assess and care for your nervous system, not just your spine.

Every patient receives a comprehensive evaluation using paraspinal thermography, surface electromyography (sEMG), postural assessment, and a hands-on spinal exam. These objective tools show us exactly where communication between your brain and body is being disrupted, so we can deliver adjustments that are precise, gentle, and effective.

Our primary technique is Torque Release Technique, which uses the FDA-approved Integrator instrument to deliver corrections at 1/10,000th of a second — gentle enough for a newborn, specific enough for a competitive athlete. We also hold certifications in the Webster Technique for pregnancy care, and our doctors are trained through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) to care for children of all ages.

This isn't a one-size-fits-all approach. Your care plan is built around your body, your goals, and your family's needs.

Our Story

Compass Chiropractic was founded by Drs. Andy and Kailey, both graduates of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

Dr. Andy grew up in a chiropractic family and knew from a young age that this was his calling. Dr. Kailey was a Division 1 hockey player who graduated summa cum laude, earned the Clinical Excellence Award, and developed a deep passion for prenatal and pediatric care along the way. They met at Palmer, built a shared vision for what a family wellness practice could look like, and brought that vision to Whitefish.

Today, the team also includes Dr. Sarah, a Life University graduate, Webster Certified chiropractor, and ICPA-trained doctor who shares the same heart for moms and kids. Together, they serve families from two locations — Whitefish and Kalispell — with the goal of making neurologically-focused chiropractic care a cornerstone of community health in the Flathead Valley.

Who We Serve

We care for every member of your family, at every stage of life:

Expecting and new moms — prenatal comfort, pelvic balance, Webster Technique, postpartum recovery, and breastfeeding support.

Infants, kids, and teens — gentle support for colic, reflux, ear infections, tongue tie, torticollis, focus challenges, anxiety, and healthy development.

Adults — relief from headaches, neck pain, back pain, sciatica, and chronic stress, plus long-term nervous system wellness.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is neurologically-focused chiropractic care?

It's an approach that goes beyond treating back pain. We use objective neurological assessments to measure how well your nervous system is functioning, then deliver specific adjustments to remove interference and restore proper communication between your brain and body. The goal is a body that heals, adapts, and performs at its full potential.

What does Compass Chiropractic specialize in?

We specialize in family chiropractic care with particular expertise in prenatal, postpartum, and pediatric chiropractic. All of our doctors are Webster Certified and trained through the ICPA. We also offer Torque Release Technique and SoftWave TRT therapy for adults.

How is Compass different from a traditional chiropractor?

Most traditional chiropractors focus on pain and use manual, hands-on adjustments. We focus on your nervous system using advanced scanning technology to guide care, and we use the Integrator instrument for gentle, research-backed adjustments. Our goal isn't just to get you out of pain — it's to help your body function better long-term.
